I'm back!

We went here:-
and here:-

and I did a bit of lazing around here:-
For someone who's not really keen on the whole holiday thing, I had a jolly nice time!
It's good to be back though and to hear such good news buzzing around blogland, Cally's fab agent news and all the story and article sales I've been reading about on everyone's blogs. (Sorry I would do the whizzy link thing, but photos and blog links in one post is asking a bit much.)
Anyway, I'm feeling inspired by all the good vibes and today I've sent out a short story and a competition entry. Kids back at school too so yay and boo in equal measure. Good to get back into some kind of routine, but not so good to say goodbye to those long lazy days!

Fab pictures! Glad you had a lovely time - it looks wonderful!

I miss the summer holidays already. School routine takes a bit of getting used to again.

Good luck with your sub. All crossed here:-)

Thanks Yvonne! Have a great time in Barcelona!

Lane - Yes, those early morning starts are a definite shock to the system!

Thanks, Debs, we were obviously posting at the same time! Lovely to go away, but just as lovely to come home again!

Oh....I want to have been there too. Oh well, I'll have to close my eyes really tight and pretend I am.

It's no good. I can hear the pasta sauce exploding in the microwave. I'm worried it'll get in the pool...Sigh....

Glad you had a good time, though!

Welcome back! Your holiday looks like it was fantastic! I have just come back home from a few weeks visiting family/friends and am just starting to catch up with blogland. Sounds like lots of exciting things have been happening.

Wish I could step into your photos - it looks sunny and beautiful in there.

Kat :-)

Tam - We never made it to Siena, I wanted to go there too, but it was just a bit far from where we were staying. The second photo is Florence. Such a beautiful city!

Kat - Welcome back to you too! It was beautifully sunny and hot.

Thanks, Pat! It's good to be back.

Thanks, Honeysuckle! It's so satisfying to send stories out there. Not so satisfying when they come back, but I won't think about that at the moment!

Empathising with that whole start-of-term-feeling thing, but remembering that it's a whole lot better than the end-of-term-feeling thing ;-)

Really glad you had a great holiday, and Yey! for the subs. You set a fine example!

Loving the holiday vibes and pics! The whole 'new term' thing is great for kick-starting the writing - my No. 1 baby is starting his GCSE courses. Gawd. Am so old.

Sounds as if you've come back with your batteries fully recharged - fabuloso, as they say in foreign parts (apparently). Nice to have you back X

Florence is beautiful isn't it? I got taken there for a surprise weekend a couple of years ago. Welcome back, glad you had a great time!
